Why is your spinal health so important?

1. The Spinal Column protects our delicate nervous system – the spinal cord and the spinal nerves. There is no coincidence that your spinal cord resides within your spinal column. It is designed intelligently that way to protect our control and command center.

2. Posture is the window to your spine. It is the biggest clue into your health; it shows how the spine copes with the body weight and the inevitable force of gravity.

3. The alignment of your spine alters your Centre of Gravity (COG). Your body function optimally when your spine is well aligned in the state of balance.

4. Your spine is always the core stabilizer of your posture. Together with all other dynamc supports along the spine, such as the muscles, ligaments and cartilages, they make your joints mobile, providing you life and function.

5. Spinal curvatures are designed to distribute mechanical stresses evenly. The spine has four natural curves. The cervical and lumbar curves are lordotic. The thoracic and sacral curve are kyphotic. These curves are there to distribute mechanical stresses as we function through life.

6. The spine is a living tissue. The spine rejuvenates itself by constant breaking down and rebuilding. A new and healthy spine is possible with proper spinal correction and spinal conditioning program.

7. Your spinal health has a direct impact on your general well being. A misaligned spine does not only give you musculoskeletal problem, but also other health issues such as chronic fatigue syndrome, nervousness, dizziness, indigestion, headache, and more.
